Last year, I was fortunate and blessed to be awarded as one of the most outstanding employees of our company. I got the chance to visit Boracay for free! 🥹❤️

This year, I had the privilege again to be awarded the same. It was an ecstatic feeling to be recognized  by our organization. As part of that award, I had an opportunity to travel to Coron in Palawan for free again! 🥹🥹❤️❤️

It was not my first time to travel to Coron. I traveled to this place last 2015 as a solo backpacker. By that time, I had the chance to explore this beautiful island alone but I met some friends from Thailand, Germany and Australia. We even hanged out in Manila! It was fun! 😁

This year, I traveled with other awardees, our HR and my Manager who happened to be our guest speaker. It was like returning to a place with new faces. 🥰

How did I get there?

Since this is an all expense company paid trip, we are fortunate that all our transportation is pre-arranged. Our company booked us a flight via Philippine Airlines. After an hour of flight from Manila to Busuanga, we were greeted by a local travel agency and hopped to a van. It took us about 30 minutes to reach our hotel.

Where did I stayed?

Our rooms are pre-arranged too upon arrival. We stayed at Coron Westown Resort Palawan. It is a bit far from the town center but definitely a nice hotel perfect for our stay.

Our room is huge and nearby the hotel’s swimming pool and bar area. Though it was a long walk from the main lobby, I may say that this hotel is better than my first stay in Coron. 😅

Another favorite part of the hotel is the buffet breakfast! The menu is full and very delicious. It was really appetizing! 😋

The hotel also has a function area where we had workshops and fun activities. All of the staff are accommodating and friendly to us.

Where are the places I visited?

We stayed in Coron for 3 days and 2 nights. We had ample free time to spend on the island. After check-in, we went to the town center to buy different stuff and just walk around. From our hotel, we rented tricycles. Our hotel is more than 10 minutes away from the town center.

After that walk, we returned to our hotel to complete our activities for the day. In that night, we also had the chance to take some group photos with the other awardees and HR.

On our second day, we experienced Coron at its best! We had our island hopping tour! Though it was my second time in Coron, the beauty of its place is never-ending! We were blessed as well to have a sunny day to visit different spots in Coron.

We started our day in climbing to see Kayangan Lake. It is named one of the cleanest bodies of water in the world. So, all of the climbing was worth it! 🥰🥰🥰

I must admit that after almost 9 years, I am still a jerk swimmer! 😅🤣 But the water of Kayangan Lake is still one of the best! 😍😍😍

We also had the chance to visit other places like the Twin Lagoon, Skeleton Wreck and others. Everyone enjoyed the island tour. As for me, I stayed most in the boat with Ms. Ellen just wanted to chit chat and just wander around.

Another highlight of the island tour was the lunch at Atwayan White Beach. The food was very sumptuous! Local food was really the best! 🥰🥰🥰

After our half day island tour, we returned to our hotel to freshen up. It was indeed a fun experience to travel again in Coron’s best spots. ❤️

We had the chance as well to sing our hearts out in our videoke night. It was nice to hear different voices after a fun-filled day under the sun.

Before our last day, we had some time to return to town center and buy “pasalubong”. Coron is well known for cashews. So most of the items I bought are local delicacies of Coron. Our company provided small tokens to everyone too. ❤️

After all the activities in Coron, though I experienced some unwell moments 🥹 I still enjoyed it with the new faces I met. I am happy to have another time in Coron as most of the expenses are all paid! 😁 I am very much honored to be part of the awardees again. 🙇‍♀️ I may not be part of next year’s awardees (since this time, I will be the one to nominate 😅) but still I will do my best to be a productive individual as an example to everyone. 💪
